Diamond Engravers recognise that design is a broad field with various specialised applications, The principles focus on visual communication through typography, imagery, and layout. In product and industrial design, we are concerned with the creation of physical goods, from belt buckles, components, awards and jewellery for our customers, To support the demand for professional outcomes, we use a range of dedicated software to facilitate the creation of high resolution engraving vector files, 3D models from which we can interpret accurate STL or OBJ files and can create layers which enable us to engrave 3D contoured profiles which are superior to flat file engraving. The 3d model is also used to facilitate mold manufacture for casting of products.

Many of our customers need the facility to be able to take an idea or a sketch and turn it into a usable format from which we can engrave a product whether it is a rotary application or a flat format. Having degree qualified and experienced skill sets not only from a software perspective, but product manufacture within our company means that we can provide a totally integrated solution for just about any application for the products we offer.

The application of the logo or brand symbols in any of the designs we undertake for our customers are offered in two formats, embossed or debossed, ostensibly embossed meaning in relief or raised wheras debossed is recessed into the product. The embossed engraving of logos or brand sysmbols can be accomplished in 2D or 3D, 3D being much more prestigious but correspondingly more expensive as the time to produce the logo takes substantially longer as the layers have to be small enough to ensure the 3D profile is accurate and also acheive the depth. Making the layers thicker reduces the accuracy and depth of the engraving. in highly detailed 3D engravings for tool moulds, for the generation of STL files the layers can be as small as 0.005 mm or 5 microns depending upon the application. Diamond Engravers will use their vast experience to guide customers for the best option for thier application, taking into account the cost as well as the accurate represetnation of the logo, symbol or design.

Our facilities include, graphic design, conversion of jpegs, bitmaps to scalable vector files such as dxf, the ability to create a 3D model from a flat file so that images or logos can be engraved in relief or creating the Stl file from which casting of the product can be produced. It is these services which differentiates us from our competitors as we do not offer just engraving but the concept to finished product and branded to customers requirements.
