UK mainland shipments
Two approaches are used to optimise shipping rates for local customers, these include Royal Mail and couriers. The couriers we use include DHL, Fedex and UPS. All our services are signed for and all parcel servics utilise GPS tracking to validate any delivery.

Diamond engravers will normally ship Special Delivery for value items with insurance up to £500 and couriers for bulky items. Rates are quoted at time of shipment unless by written quotation. Higher value items will be quoted for each application. Normally delivery services are quoted on a next day basis as given by the couriers and Royal Mail, whilst they endeavour to adhere to the next day service, in certain cases the system may fail and it is beyond our control and we will not be held liable for third party failure in their services. Special a.m deliveries are quoted at the time of completion or by special arrangement.

Where 1st class tracked and signed for is applied to lower value items, the company will ship via Royal Mail.


Overseas Shipments
Diamond Engravers ships world wide with reputable courier services, these are in general Fedex, DHL and UPS. Each overseas shipment will vary accoording to the weight of each parcel and the dimensions. It is compnay policy to seek the best and most cost effective option for our customers. Some of our overseas customers have their own account with the couriers and we can work in accordance with their requriements.

In this regard, it may be more advantageous for the customer to consider using their own courier services to effect a pick up at the factory, as we have found in certain cases this is more cost effective. Our company will always seek to obtain the best rate and the most effiicient service. Customers will be notified of the prices and lead times prior to shipping.

Outsourcing
We have extensive contacts in Europe and offshore for certain components and casting facilities which we cannot obtain cost effectively in the UK or we oursleves do not make the component or raw material, we therefore provide assistance to import these items or to contract cast the raw castings - we also offer this as a service to our own customers if they would like us to provide an outsourcing service. Please ask our sales office for assistance for any outsourced product or service.
